The Vittorio Emanuele II was constructed to honor Victor Emmanuel which was the first ever king of a unified Italy. It is situated amongst other famous Roman monuments such as the Piazza Venezia and Capitoline Hill. The monument is built of pure white marble and features majestic stairways and tall fountains with statues and sculptures.
